About KeptInFlow
Less retyping.
No rebuilt timesheets.
KeptInFlow is a Windows app for people who bill by the hour. It drafts your timesheet and invoices from what was on your screen, so you stop rebuilding the week from memory.
Its copy and capture tools are free for everyone, and so are its AI tools, with your own key or 100 AI actions a month on us. Pro is a one-time purchase: $59 for the first 100 buyers, then $79, then $99.
What KeptInFlow does
Six jobs. The first three are free for good; the last three are Pro.
Fills forms from what you already have
Copy an email, press Alt+Shift+V, and smart paste fills the form in front of you. You check every value first.
Reads the text off anything on screen
Copy the words out of a video frame, a PDF or an error box.
Puts AI where you are typing
Ask or rewrite in Outlook, Slack or your browser, and the answer lands in place.
Writes your day down Pro
Each day is written up from what was on your screen, named for the work. You write Friday's status email from that page. See the journal.
Drafts your timesheet and invoices Pro
Each line is named, tagged to a client and priced. You read it, and the same hours become the invoice. See it for freelancers.
Records calls with no bot Pro
Teams, Zoom, Meet and Slack huddles, recorded from your own PC, with speakers told apart and a summary.
Why people switch
You pay once, not every month
Timely plus Fireflies runs about $228 a year. Pro is $59 once for the first 100 buyers, then $79, then $99.
A timesheet with no timer
Toggl and Harvest run on a timer you have to remember. Here each line is drafted from your screen: "Redlined the services agreement".
No bot joins your calls
Otter and Fireflies send a bot into the meeting, and some companies block them. This records what your own PC hears.
Your work stays on your PC
There is no account and no cloud copy of your work. "Keep everything on this PC" in Settings stops every online call at once.
One free app instead of four
People stack ShareX or Snagit for snips, Ditto for the clipboard, and TextExpander for snippets. Here it is one free install, and every snip is searchable by its words.
What it cannot do
- Run on a Mac. It is Windows 10 and 11 only.
- Write up days before you installed it.
- Record a meeting you are not on, the way a bot can.
- Skip the SmartScreen warning yet, because the app is new.
Who it's for
- Freelancers and consultants who bill by the hour.
- Small agencies that send hours to Toggl, Clockify or Harvest.
- Solo lawyers and small firms who log time for Clio Manage.
- People leaving Harvest, bringing clients and hours from its CSV export.
- Teams that ban meeting bots but want transcripts.
- Anyone on Windows who retypes between apps all day.
Who makes it
KeptInFlow is made by John Whitworth, an independent developer based in Memphis, Tennessee. Before this, he was a product manager.

Frequently asked questions
Is KeptInFlow a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time license, and the app is yours forever. After the first 100 buyers, a license includes a year of updates, and renewing for $39 a year is optional.
Does it watch my screen?
Screen Memory, a Pro feature, does once you finish setup, and what it reads stays on your PC. Password managers are excluded from the start, and Settings turns it down or off.
What leaves my PC?
Your files stay on your PC. Things leave it only for something you use or turn on: an AI request (to the provider you picked, or through our relay if you have no key, with detected personal details masked), your phone when Work over the internet is on, a bill you send through your own Stripe account, and the update and license checks. The app also sends a daily count of which features ran, never what they ran on, and one switch in Settings turns that off. The Sent log lists every request.
Why does Windows warn about the installer?
SmartScreen warns about any installer it has not seen many times, and this app is new. The installer is code-signed, so the publisher name shows. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Do I need an API key?
No. Without a key you get 100 AI actions a month on us, or you can download a free on-device model that needs no connection.
What happens when the 30-day trial ends?
You keep the free plan. Pro features stop making new things, but journal days, call transcripts, captures and invoices you already made stay readable.
Is there a Mac version?
Not yet. It is built and tested on Windows first. macOS is planned but has no date.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. Email within 30 days of buying and you get a full refund, no questions asked.
