Meeting notes for Windows

Meeting notes,
with no bot in the call.

KeptInFlow records the call from your own PC: your microphone and the sound the call is playing. Nobody new joins, and nobody asks who the extra attendee is. When the call ends you get a transcript with the speakers told apart, a summary, and the action items. It also keeps what was on screen, so you can ask about the slide nobody read out. The recording and the transcript are files on your PC.

One key, then forget about it

Record the call.
Read the notes when it ends.

Press the shortcut when the call starts and again when it ends. There is no calendar to connect and no invite to forward to a bot. The on-device speech model transcribes the meeting by itself once you stop.

One key starts it

Press it when the call starts and again when it ends. The Record the call tile on the main window does the same. Your microphone and the sound of the call are recorded together.

off by default

Or let it notice the call

Turn on auto-record and KeptInFlow notices when Zoom, Teams, Slack, Webex, Discord or a call in your browser starts using your microphone. It can ask first with a small prompt, or start on its own.

Pause  Stop

You can see that it is recording

A small pill shows the elapsed time, with Pause and Stop. Pause for a side conversation and that stretch is never written to the file. The pill stays out of your screen shares.

speakers

Who said what

Each voice gets its own label, and your side is labeled You. On Zoom, Teams and Meet the names are read from the meeting window, so the transcript says who spoke by name. Your voice is never turned into a voiceprint.

After the call

summary

Walk away with the action items

The summary gives the topics, the decisions, and who agreed to do what. Each line plays the recording at its moment. The meeting takes its name from what was discussed, not from a timestamp.

Ask

Ask the meeting what you missed

The Ask tab answers from that one recording ("what did I agree to do?") and says so when the answer is not in it.

fix

Fix what it misheard

Rename a speaker, merge two labels that turned out to be one person, or move a line to whoever really said it. Click an underlined word to retype it, and teach it a name so later recordings get it right.

2x

Listen again in half the time

The transcript keeps pace with the audio, and clicking a word jumps playback there. Play at up to 2x with voices still sounding normal, and skip the quiet stretches.

More than what was said

It also knows what was on screen.

A transcript only has what people said out loud. KeptInFlow also keeps what was on your screen while the call was recorded, lined up with the words. When someone says "that number there," the answer is not lost.

The Meetings view with a client call open: a short written summary, one action item, what each side owes, and the money and dates that came up, each with the time it was said The Meetings view with a client call open: a short written summary, one action item, what each side owes, and the money and dates that came up, each with the time it was said
The summary and the Ask tab read the words that were on screen along with what was said.
Ask

Ask about the slide nobody read out

Ask the meeting about a number on a chart or a line in a shared document. The answer cites the window it came from.

cropped

Faces are left out

Moving regions, such as a gallery of faces or a webcam strip beside a slide, are cropped away before anything is read or saved.

your switch

On by default, and yours to turn off

The switch is "Remember what was on screen in meetings" in Settings, Privacy. Apps you have told KeptInFlow to skip are skipped here too.

Three weeks later

Find the moment
it was said.

Notes only help if you can find the one line you need. Every meeting you record is searchable, and a result opens on the sentence with the audio cued to that second.

Alt+Shift+M

Search every meeting at once

Open Meetings and search. It covers every meeting you have recorded and lands you on the line where the words were said.

timeline

See the shape of the call

Every speaker gets a lane on the timeline, so you can see who talked when and jump to the part you came back for.

Follow-ups

Everything you promised

Follow-ups lists what you owe and what you are owed, from your calls and your notes. Each row opens the moment it was said.

drop a file

Old recordings count too

Drop a phone recording, a downloaded call or a voice memo on the Meetings window. It comes back as a transcript with the speakers told apart, searchable with the rest.

Export a meeting as Markdown (the summary and the full transcript) or as audio. Once a meeting has a transcript, its recording shrinks to roughly a tenth of the size, so keeping every call does not fill your drive.

Built for the skeptical

Your calls stay on your PC.

A recording of a client call is about as sensitive as a file gets. Here is where it goes, and where it does not.

It records from your own PC

KeptInFlow reads your microphone and the sound your PC is playing, while a recording is running and not before. Nothing joins the call, so there is no extra name in the participant list.

The recording and the transcript are files on your disk

They live in a folder on this PC. There is no account, and our servers never store them. If you stop paying, or never pay, the meetings you already saved stay readable.

Transcription can run with the network off

Turning speech into text and telling the speakers apart can both run on your PC, using free models you download once. Cloud transcription is a choice you make per engine.

Summaries and answers are the AI step

Writing the summary, answering a question and finding follow-ups send the meeting's text to the AI you use. Turn on "Keep everything on this PC" in Settings and that work stays on the built-in model on your PC, which is smaller and slower.

Every feature in the app that reads anything is listed on one page: what it reads, whether it leaves your PC, and whether it is on the day you install. See what it watches

The honest version

A bot in the call,
or a recorder on your PC.

Notetaker bots are good at what they do. The difference is where the recording happens, and who watches it happen.

A notetaker botKeptInFlow
Who joins the call An extra participant that everyone sees Nobody. It records what your own PC hears
Where the recording lives The service's servers, under an account A folder on your PC, with no account at all
Which calls The meeting apps the service supports Any call you can hear on this PC
What was on screen Depends on the service Kept beside the words, so you can ask about a slide
A meeting you are not in It can attend without you You have to be on the call
What you pay Usually a monthly fee, for as long as you use it $59 once, at the founding price

The trade is real, and here it is. A bot can sit in a meeting you never joined, and KeptInFlow cannot: you have to be on the call. The transcript arrives after the call, not live during it. Notes are not posted to Slack, Notion or a CRM for you: you export Markdown or audio. It is Windows 10 and 11 only. And because nobody sees a recorder join, telling people they are being recorded is your job.

Meetings is one feature of the app

The rest of what you just bought.

KeptInFlow is a single Windows app for keeping and reusing everything that goes through your screen. Meetings is the listening door. These are the others, all in the one license.

capture

Precise screen capture with on-device OCR, annotation and redaction, scrolling capture, and screen recording you can edit in place. Every capture stays searchable by the words that were on it.

<<ask>>

AI inside every app

Ask a question mid-sentence and the answer replaces it, edit selected text by describing the change, or open a command palette for the whole PC. Bring your own key, or use the included monthly actions.

See the whole app on the home page, or read what it watches: every feature that reads anything, what it reads, whether it leaves your PC, and whether it is on when you install.

With your own AI key you pay the AI company directly for what you use. The free on-device model answers on your own PC and costs nothing to run; it is smaller and slower than a cloud model. On-device dictation and transcription are unlimited with Pro or the AI plan.

Before you ask

Questions, answered.

Does a bot join my call?

No. KeptInFlow records from your PC: your microphone and the sound the call is playing. Nobody else in the meeting sees an extra participant, because there is none.

Will the other people know I am recording?

Not unless you tell them. Nothing joins the call, and nobody else is shown a notice. Recording laws differ from place to place, and many require everyone's consent, so telling people is your responsibility. The app says so the first time you turn on auto-record.

Does my audio go to the cloud?

It does not have to. Transcription and speaker labels can run entirely on your PC, using free models you download once. Writing the summary, answering a question and finding follow-ups are AI steps, and they send the meeting's text to the AI you use. "Keep everything on this PC" in Settings turns off every online call at once.

Which meeting apps does it work with?

Any call you can hear on this PC, because it records your microphone and the sound your PC is playing. Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Slack huddles, Webex and Discord all work, with nothing to install in them. Speaker names are read from Zoom, Teams and Meet. Anywhere else you can name the speakers yourself.

Does it work for a meeting in a room?

Yes. Set the audio source to microphone only and record the room. You can also drop a recording from your phone on the Meetings window and get the same transcript.

Is the transcript live during the call?

No. The meeting is transcribed after you stop. If you need the words on screen while people are still talking, this is not that tool.

Is Meetings free?

For 30 days, yes: the trial runs every feature, with no card. After that, recording and transcribing a new meeting needs a paid plan. The $12/month AI Included plan covers it with nothing to set up, AI for the summaries included. Pro covers it with one payment ($59 at the founding price), and the summaries use your own AI key. On the free plan the meetings you already saved stay readable.

What does my PC need?

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. The installer is about 18 MB and code-signed. The on-device speech models are a separate one-time download inside the app, and they run on an ordinary processor, with no special AI chip.

Is there a Mac version?

Not today. Windows 10 and 11 only, because that is where this depth of integration is possible right now. macOS is on the roadmap but not dated, and the license will cover it when it arrives.

Is this a subscription?

No. It is a one-time license: $59 at the founding price, with lifetime updates for the first 100 buyers, then $79 for the next 200 and $99 after that, with a year of updates included. Renewing updates later costs $39/yr and is optional. There is an optional $12/month AI Included plan for people who would rather not manage an API key (it also unlocks the app while it runs), and you never need it to use the app you bought.

Take the notes. Skip the bot.
