Your phone, working for your PC
The receipt is on your phone.
The invoice is on your PC.
You took the photo at the counter. Now you are at your desk, emailing it to yourself again, renaming IMG_2041.jpg, and hunting for the client folder. Share it to KeptInFlow instead. It lands in one Inbox on your PC with a name that says what it is, and a receipt becomes a cost on the client's next bill in one step.
If Windows SmartScreen asks about this new release, click More info → Run anyway. The installer is code-signed and verified.

Kingsway Print receipt for the waiting room signage, $160.88
Plan picker first, skip link on every tour step, wireframes to Priya next Friday
Shared from the phone. On the PC it already has a name, a line saying what it is, and a client.
Getting things off your phone stops meaning
- Emailing yourself
- A USB cable
- Downloads folder
- IMG_2041.jpg
- Retyping a receipt
A web page on your phone, not a store app · no account · the Inbox is free
One place for everything the phone sends
Share it once. Sort it later, or never.
Pictures, PDFs, voice memos, videos, documents, links and text all wait in the Inbox on your PC until you file them or mark them done. Nothing is thrown away after a day, and nothing piles up in a mail thread.
Any file, from the share menu
Put the phone page on your home screen and KeptInFlow shows up in Android's share menu, next to your other apps. Pick several photos from the gallery and they go across together.
Named for what it is
Each new item gets one line describing it, what a photo shows or what a call was about, and the file is renamed from that line, so the folder makes sense too. IMG_2041.jpg → Kingsway Print receipt.jpg
Under the right client
Photos, PDFs and voice memos are read as they arrive. When an item clearly names one client, it is filed under them, with Undo right there. When it is less sure, it suggests and you choose.
Duplicates, caught
Sent the same photo twice? Tidy up finds near copies and leftover test notes. The first of each set stays, the extras start checked, and nothing is deleted until you press Delete.
Search the Inbox by what is inside: the words in a photo or PDF and what was said in a voice memo, not just the file name. Everything filed for a client shows up on that client's page.
The expense you would have forgotten to bill
A receipt photo becomes a cost.
Money you paid out for a client belongs on their next bill. The receipt is paper and the camera is in your pocket, so the phone is where a cost should start.
One step from the Inbox
Choose Add as cost on a receipt photo or PDF. The amount and the shop are read off it, the file is attached, and the cost is saved for the client the receipt is filed under.
Never added twice
A receipt that became a cost is marked Cost in the Inbox, with Open cost and Undo. When no amount can be read, the cost opens with the photo already on it, so you only type the number.
A week of receipts at once
Select several receipts and add them all together. When a client is only a guess, you confirm it first, so nothing lands on the wrong bill.
Ready when you bill
Building an invoice shows the receipts, photos and PDFs you filed for that client during the bill's dates. Tick the ones that go with it and they are attached.
Part of Pro: a receipt turning into a cost comes with billing, which is in Pro. Sending the receipt across and keeping it in the Inbox is free.
From the couch, or across the room from a projector
Control your PC from your phone.
Open Remote control, scan the code, and your phone becomes a trackpad and keyboard for the PC. It can show the PC's screen too, like remote desktop. Nothing to install on the phone and nothing to sign in to. Keep it on your home screen and it opens straight to it next time.
Gestures you already know
Tap to click, hold to right click, tap twice to double click, tap and hold to drag, two fingers to scroll, three fingers for a middle click. Natural scrolling is on out of the box.
A real keyboard for the PC
The keyboard button brings up your phone's keyboard, and what you type lands on the PC, including Esc, the arrow keys and Ctrl combinations.
See the PC's screen on the phone
Tap Screen and the desktop appears live with a crosshair in the middle. Swipe to slide the screen under it, and the pointer goes where the crosshair lands. Pinch to zoom in on the phone.
Away from home, only if you say so
On your own Wi-Fi the pad works as it is. Using it over the internet takes a switch, Remote control away from home, which is off until you turn it on.
Unlock it from your phone
Turn on Unlock it from my phone and the lock screen shows on your phone, so you can unlock this PC from there. Works when you are signed in and the PC is locked, not after a restart.
Free on your home Wi-Fi: the trackpad, the keyboard and the view of the PC's screen. Part of Pro: remote control from anywhere over the internet, and using your PC while it's locked. More on remote control from your phone.
And back the other way
Send from the PC to your phone.
The address you need in the car, the photo you want to post, the PDF to read on the train. Send it down from wherever you are on the PC.
Whatever you copied
Search for Send clipboard to phone to send text, a picture or copied files. It can have its own hotkey too.
From File Explorer and snips
Right-click files and choose Send to, then KeptInFlow phone. The snip toolbar and the picture viewer have a phone button of their own.
Ready to use on the phone
Pictures arrive with Save and Share, other files with Download. With more than one phone paired, you pick which, and the last one you used is already chosen.
An alert that says very little
Turn on alerts and the installed phone app on Android tells you something arrived from your PC. The alert names the PC, and the item itself stays inside KeptInFlow.
The obvious question
What leaves your PC, and how.
There is no account and no cloud copy of your files. A phone can only connect after you approve it on the PC, and each approved device gets its own key.
You approve every device
Scan the code, then approve the request on your PC after checking the code matches on both screens. See when each device last connected, remove one, or disconnect them all with a fresh code.
At home, straight across
On the same Wi-Fi, the phone app sends to your PC directly, encrypted, without going through the internet. Chrome asks once to reach devices on your local network; allow it.
Away from home is a switch
Work over the internet ships off. Turn it on and the phone can reach your PC from mobile data, through a relay that carries only encrypted messages it cannot read.
The reading uses the AI you chose
Descriptions and receipt reading use the AI you set up, and voice memos go to the speech engine you picked, which can run on this PC. Listen, Describe, Rename and Auto-file each have a switch.
Read what it watches: every feature that reads anything, what it reads, whether it leaves your PC, and whether it is on the day you install.
The honest version
You already have a way to do this.
Most people email the photo to themselves, or use Phone Link, which comes with Windows. Both get a file across. Neither knows which client it is for. Here is where this sits next to them.
| Emailing yourself, or Phone Link | KeptInFlow | |
|---|---|---|
| Getting it across | Attach, send, open mail on the PC and download it. Or Phone Link's recent photos, or share to the PC from an Android phone | Share any file from the phone, or tap Photo or File |
| What you end up with | IMG_2041.jpg, in a mail thread or a folder | A named file with a line saying what it is, filed under a client |
| A receipt | You retype it into whatever you bill from | Add as cost reads it and puts it on the client's next bill |
| The phone as a remote control | Neither does it | Trackpad, keyboard and a live view of the PC's screen. Free on your home Wi-Fi; from anywhere and at the lock screen with Pro |
| Texts, calls and notifications | Phone Link shows them on the PC | Not part of it |
| Price | Free. Phone Link comes with Windows | Pairing, the Inbox and the trackpad at home are free. Receipts to costs, and remote control away from home or at the lock screen, are part of the $59 Pro license |
The trade is real, so here it is. Phone Link and KDE Connect both put your phone's texts, calls and notifications on the PC, and this does not. KDE Connect is free and runs on more than Windows; KeptInFlow is Windows 10 and 11 only. The PC has to be on with KeptInFlow running for anything to arrive. iPhone does not let web apps into its share menu, and Safari cannot reach a PC on your Wi-Fi directly, so an iPhone needs Work over the internet on and sends with the Photo and File buttons. Away from home, a file that cannot take the direct link goes through the relay, capped at 25 MB, and remote control over the internet needs that direct link, which not every network allows.
The phone is one door of the app
The rest of what you just bought.
KeptInFlow is a single Windows app for the work that ends in a bill. What your phone sends is one door. These are the others, all in the one license.
Billable hours, written down
A timesheet drafted from what was on your screen, by client, with no timer to remember. You check it and send the bill.
Record calls with no bot
Teams, Zoom, Meet, and Slack huddles recorded from your own PC, transcribed with the speakers told apart, summarized, and searchable later. Nothing joins the meeting.
Snip, OCR, annotate, record
Precise screen capture with on-device OCR, annotation and redaction, scrolling capture, and screen recording you can edit in place. Every capture stays searchable by the words that were on it.
A work journal that writes itself
Each day written up while you work: what you finished, what is still going, what got stuck, with every line opening onto the screen it came from.
See the whole app on the home page, or start with the work journal, capture and OCR, or dictation.

With your own AI key you pay the AI company directly for what you use. The $12/month AI plan is for people who want AI to just work: no key and nothing to set up, one bill, 5,000 fast AI actions a month, 1,200 minutes of cloud dictation, and every Pro feature included while it is active. On-device dictation and transcription are unlimited with Pro or the AI plan.
Before you ask
Questions, answered.
Do I install an app on my phone?
No app store. Open the Phone window on your PC and scan the code with your phone's camera. The phone app is a web page from keptinflow.com: put it on your home screen and it opens like an app, and on Android it shows up in the share menu.
Does it work with an iPhone?
With limits. iPhone does not let web apps into its share menu, and Safari cannot reach a PC on your Wi-Fi directly. So on an iPhone, turn on Work over the internet on the PC and send with the Photo and File buttons. Android with Chrome is the smoothest setup.
Do my files go through your servers?
On your own Wi-Fi, no: the phone sends straight to the PC. With Work over the internet on, a relay helps the two devices find each other, and a file goes directly between them when a direct link can form. A Cloudflare helper sees each device's internet address so they can find each other. It never sees the screen, keys or files. When no direct link can form, the file passes through the relay, encrypted on the phone and opened only on your PC, up to 25 MB. The switch is off until you turn it on.
What does the AI see?
To write a line about a new item, its picture or its words go to the AI you set up. Voice memos and videos go to the speech engine you picked, which can be one running on this PC. Reading a receipt into a cost uses the AI too. Turn off Listen, Describe, Rename or Auto-file in the Inbox header and those steps stop.
Does the PC have to be on?
Yes. The phone sends to the KeptInFlow running on your PC, so the PC has to be on with the app running. Once a phone is paired, the connection starts with the app, so you never need to open a window before you share.
What if I lose my phone?
Open Phone on your PC and remove that device. If you are not sure which one it was, disconnect all devices: the old code stops working, and you scan the new one and approve each phone you still have.
How big a file can I send?
Up to 1 GB a file on your own Wi-Fi or over a direct link, and up to 25 MB through the internet relay. The phone app says which connection it is on and what it will take, and a file too big for the relay stays on the phone to send once you are back on Wi-Fi.
Is it a subscription?
No. It is a one-time license: $59 at the founding price, with lifetime updates for the first 100 buyers, then $79 for the next 200 and $99 after that, with a year of updates included. Renewing updates later costs $39/yr and is optional. There is an optional $12/month AI Included plan for people who would rather not manage an API key, and you never need it to use the app you bought.
