Two-factor, without the trip
The code comes to you.
Click into a one-time-code box and KeptInFlow goes looking in the places codes actually arrive: your mail client, your messaging app, a Windows notification, a phone mirror, the window on your second screen. What it finds appears in a small list under the box, newest first. Press Tab and you are in.
It reads the window you cannot see
Click the code box and your browser comes forward, covering the window the code is in. KeptInFlow finds it anyway. Buried under three other windows changes nothing.
Including one you never switched to
You never go and find the message first. Any window that is open counts, even one you never switched to. Covered is fine. Minimized to the taskbar is the one exception.
A resend does not trip it up
Ask for a resend and two identical messages are sitting there. The list shows the last few codes it caught, newest at the top, each with how long ago it turned up and which window it came from. You pick.
One key, and only when you press it
Nothing is typed until you press Tab or click the row you want. Escape puts the list away, so does the X, and so does a minute of you ignoring it. Type the code in yourself and it gets out of the way rather than adding a second copy.
Your verification code is 418302. It expires in 10 minutes.
The browser is over the window holding the code. Covering it completely changes nothing.
It offers codes, not every other number on your screen. An order total, a year, a promo code and the last four digits of your own phone number are all left where they are.
Every other box you retype
Fetch: you already had it.
Order number. Case number. Tracking number. The email address you used last time. The account number off the invoice. You copied it minutes ago and now a box is asking for it, so Fetch offers it right above the box instead of sending you back for it.

It reads what the box is asking for
Order numbers, tracking numbers, emails, phone numbers, card and bank details, postcodes. Ask for something it does not recognise and it stays quiet, so it never becomes another thing popping up all day.
Ask in a box with no label at all
Plenty of boxes are labelled nothing, or labelled something nobody would guess. Press the shortcut inside one and Fetch shows you what it has anyway, reaching further back than it ever would unasked, and showing more of what it finds.
It cannot make a value up
Every row is a piece of text you genuinely had, handed back character for character. No model writes a suggestion, so there is nothing to check before it goes in.
Delicate numbers arrive covered
A card number, a social security number or a taxpayer number is shown with everything but the last four hidden, so a screen share or the person behind you learns nothing. Take it and the whole value goes in. Bank details are shown in full on purpose: those are what you put at the bottom of an invoice so people can pay you.
Out of the box, Fetch offers what you copied, and a deliberate copy stays available all day. Look further back reaches a month for values your screen actually named, and a day for the rest. It can also quote a value it saw on your screen, and that half needs Screen Memory switched on, which it is not when you install: KeptInFlow does not start watching your screen because you clicked on a form.
The whole form at once

Alt+Shift+V fills the form in front of you from details you already have: what you copied, a snip of a document, or the details you saved once. Each box is matched by what it is asking for, and you see exactly what would be written before a single character lands.
Nothing lands until you say so
The preview lists every box it matched and the value it proposes for each one. Turn off the ones you do not want. Only then does anything get typed, which is the difference between a helpful fill and a form you now have to check line by line.
Fill a form from a picture of a form
Snip a delivery note, a business card, an invoice, or a page of a PDF you have open, then fill the web form from that. The words come out of the picture on your own PC, so a paper form and a web form finally talk to each other.
It checks its own work
Web forms sometimes accept a value and quietly throw it away. If a box did not keep what was written, you are told, with one click to retry it. You find out now, not at the checkout page.
Your own details, saved once
Name, address, and the rest live in a card on your PC, not in a browser account. That means they fill anywhere on the machine, not just in the one browser that happens to have stored them.
The part that matters
It hands things back.
It does not make things up.
Anything that types for you is one bad guess away from being worse than useless. So it hands back what you already had, and never writes a value of its own.
It will not pop up on a button
The offer appears only at a real text box. Not a link, not a menu, not a checkbox, not a window title that happened to contain the word code.
It cannot type into the wrong window
If you have wandered off to another app, it refuses to type. It writes into the box it belongs to or it writes nowhere.
Codes never reach the disk
A caught code is never written to a file, never added to your clipboard history, and never sent anywhere. The app holds the last handful in memory so the same one is not offered to you twice, and closing it forgets every one of them.
Codes and Fetch never touch the network
Both of them read on this PC. No network call, no API key, no account to make. Smart paste is the one that asks a model, and only when you run it.
Every one of them can be switched off
Codes, Fetch, and Smart paste each have their own switch in Settings, under Filling in forms. And one page lists every feature that reads anything, what it reads, whether it leaves your PC, and whether it is on the day you install.
It is not a password manager
It does not store your passwords, fill your passwords, or want to replace the thing that does. Keep your password manager. This is for the codes and numbers it was never going to have.
The honest version
Your phone has done this for years.
iPhones have filled in SMS codes since 2018. On Windows the code arrives in one app, the box is in another, and nothing has ever joined the two up. Here is where this sits next to what you already have.

The trade is real, so here it is. KeptInFlow is Windows 10 and 11 only, so none of this helps on a Mac or a phone. It is not a password manager and should not be your password manager. If a code only ever reaches your phone and your phone is not mirrored to this PC, there is nothing on the PC for it to read. And a box asking for something Fetch does not understand gets no offer at all, which is deliberate: silence is better than a wrong guess in a box you are about to submit.

How can it see a code in a window that is covered?
It reads the window's own text rather than the picture on your screen, so what is in front of what makes no difference. If your messaging app can show a code to a blind user, it can show it to this.
Is it reading my screen all the time?
No. The code catcher does nothing at all until you click into a box that asks for a code, then stops on its own a minute or two later. For the first twenty seconds it looks across your monitors for the code, then sticks to the window you came from. It looks on this PC and never off it. Fetch is narrower still: one question about the single box you clicked into. Screen Memory, the feature that keeps a rolling record of your day, is a separate thing and is off until you turn it on.
What if the code arrives after I click the box?
That is the normal case, and it is handled. The list stays up and keeps watching for about ninety seconds, so a text that lands ten seconds after you clicked simply appears at the top. It also survives you clicking away, because nobody sits staring at an empty box waiting for a phone to buzz.
Can it type a code somewhere I did not mean?
It types only while the box it appeared at holds the keyboard. Go somewhere else and press Tab and nothing happens, because the offer is no longer allowed to write. Clicking a row from another app brings the original box back first, checks that it really has focus, and only then types. A code is also offered once: take it and it is spent.
Does this work outside the browser?
Yes. It is a Windows feature, not a browser extension, so it works in desktop apps, installers, banking apps, and VPN clients, the same as in Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. There is no extension to install and nothing to keep updated. The one place it cannot help is a window that is really a picture of another computer, such as a remote desktop session, because the box you are typing into is not on this PC.
Does any of this need an API key?
Codes and Fetch never need one, because they do not use a model at all. Smart paste does, since working out which of a dozen values belongs in which of a dozen boxes is a judgment call. The trial includes 1,000 free AI actions, unlocked by the email you enter in setup, and after that it runs on an API key of your own (any of the usual providers, billed by them at pennies) or on the optional $12/month plan. The other two carry on either way.
Is this a password manager?
No, and it is not trying to be. It does not store passwords, fill passwords, or ask for the keys to anything. It handles the parts your password manager was never going to: the code that just arrived, the order number in an email, the tracking number on your other screen.
