Dead air and filler words
The "um"s and the long pauses find themselves.
The editor marks stretches where nothing happens on screen and offers to cut them. On a narrated take, Clean speech finds long silences and filler words too. You review each cut on the timeline, then take them all at once.

Timeline
Fix the rest in a few drags.
Trim the ends, speed up the boring part, cut a stretch so the sides join up, or split the take and drag a piece to a new spot. Add a fade or a crossfade where two pieces meet.

Hide what's private. Point at what matters.
Draw a box over a name, an email or a customer record and pick how it looks. Set it for the whole clip or only the seconds it is on screen. If the thing moves, turn on Follow and the box moves with it.

Before you ask
Questions, answered.
Do I need to know how to edit video?
No. With Pro, the zoom, the smooth cursor and the backdrop are applied for you, and the editor proposes the cuts. Most takes need nothing more than a look and a click on Apply. If you want to change something, every tool is one button on the timeline, with undo.
GIF or MP4?
Both, and you pick per recording. Share writes a GIF, which plays right inside chat, mail and docs, with no sound. Present writes an MP4, which carries audio, and stays much smaller on a long clip. The Studio look and the webcam bubble are Pro. Frame rate is yours to set, from 1 to 60.
Can I turn the zoom or the backdrop off?
Yes. Click zoom has Off, Soft, Medium and Strong. The backdrop has None, Subtle and Bold. Both are in Settings, and the editor lets you pick again for each take. Click zoom and the backdrop are part of the Studio look, which is Pro.
Can it record my voice and the sound from my PC?
Yes, on MP4 recordings. Audio is off by default, and one choice turns on your microphone, the sound your speakers are playing, or both mixed together. If you use a mic, the editor can also find your filler words and long pauses afterward.
Does my recording get uploaded anywhere?
Not unless you ask. Recording, the polish, cuts, speed changes and blur all happen on your PC. Transcripts for captions and Clean speech can run on your PC for free, offline, or through a cloud service if you pick one, and the app tells you which before it starts. Share as link is a separate button that uploads the file and gives you a link.
How long can a recording be?
Up to 30 minutes. A recording stops itself after 5 minutes out of the box, so a forgotten one can't fill your disk, and you can raise that in Settings.
Is this a subscription?
No. It is a one-time license: the app is yours forever. The first 100 buyers get every update for life; later buyers get a year of updates, and renewing is optional ($39/yr). If you don't renew, you keep the last version you received.
What about macOS?
