For TypeSafe users
Bring your Jev key.
It works in every app on your PC.
You already have a TypeSafe key. Paste it into KeptInFlow and Jev starts making the quick calls in your everyday Windows tools: which value goes in which form box, which page you meant when you typed a plain sentence. It works on the free plan, with no cap from us.
If Windows SmartScreen asks about this new release, click More info → Run anyway. The installer is code-signed and verified.
No command to remember. It only ever opens a place; it never runs anything on its own.
On the free plan
Where your key goes to work.
Jev answers yes-or-no and pick-one questions, and it answers them fast. These are the free tools that ask it.
Smart paste, matched by Jev
Every box on the form is matched to the value that belongs in it, in one quick call, so the preview is up sooner. A box with nothing that fits stays empty. See smart paste.
One box, three answers
A box that asks for the city, state and ZIP code at once gets all three, in the right order, instead of just the city.
It knows whose form it is
When a form is unclear, Jev helps tell your own signup from a form about somebody else, so your details are not offered where they do not belong.
The palette, in plain words
Type what you want as a sentence and the command palette offers the page that does it. Jev picks from the app's own list of places, so it can open the wrong page at worst, never run a command.
And on Pro, in more places
Downloads, sorted by topic
Your Downloads folder grouped by what each file is about, so the clutter sorts itself.
Is that promise done?
Follow-ups ask Jev whether something you promised last week has really been finished, before they cross it off.
Loose ends, closed
The work journal asks whether a later stretch of the day finished what an earlier one left open.
Voice commands
A spoken task in the current window is planned one step at a time, with Jev helping choose what to do next.
Two minutes
Paste it once.
Every tool that can use it does.
Install KeptInFlow
Free, with no account to make. The first 30 days include every Pro feature too.
Paste your key
In Settings, under API keys, or right in the command palette the first time you type a sentence. It recognizes a TypeSafe key on sight.
Check it
One click asks Jev a real question, so you know the key works before any tool relies on it.
No TypeSafe key yet? Get one from TypeSafe. Smart paste works without it too, on the model you already use; plain-sentence search in the palette is the one that needs the key.
What it sees
Your key, your questions,
straight to TypeSafe.
The key stays in Windows
It is kept in Windows' own password store on this PC and used only to ask TypeSafe. It is never sent to us.
Straight to TypeSafe
Each question goes from your PC to TypeSafe and back, with no KeptInFlow server in between, billed to your TypeSafe account.
Only what the question needs
Jev is asked only when a tool has a question for it, and is shown only what that question is about, such as the boxes and values of the form you are filling.
One switch to stop it
"Keep everything on this PC" in Settings turns off every online call at once, Jev included.
Every request the app makes gets a row in the Sent log: where it went and how big it was, never the text. See what every feature reads
No subscription required

AI that works the moment you subscribe. Or use your own AI key, or the free on-device model.
There are three ways to run the AI. The free on-device model answers on your own PC and costs nothing to run; it is smaller and slower than a cloud model. With your own AI key you pay the AI company directly for what you use. The $12/month AI plan is for people who want AI to just work: no key and nothing to set up, one bill, 5,000 fast AI actions a month, 1,200 minutes of cloud dictation, and every Pro feature included while it is active. On-device dictation and transcription are unlimited with Pro or the AI plan.
Before you ask
Questions, answered.
Does my Jev key work on the free plan?
Yes. The free plan never expires, and your TypeSafe key works in every free tool that asks Jev a question, with no cap from us. You pay TypeSafe for what you use, on your own account.
Do I still need another AI key?
For the tools that write text, such as AI chats and rewrites, yes, or the 100 free AI actions a month with no key. Jev answers yes-or-no and pick-one questions; it does not write text, so the app never asks it to.
What happens if TypeSafe is down or my key runs out?
Smart paste falls back to the model it would have used without Jev and carries on. The palette's ordinary search keeps working either way; only the plain-sentence suggestions wait for Jev.
Does KeptInFlow see my key or my questions?
No. The key lives in Windows' own password store on your PC, and with your own key, questions go from your PC straight to TypeSafe: no KeptInFlow account and no server of ours in the path. Without a key, on the trial or the AI Included plan, the same questions pass through a relay we run, which does not store them.
What about macOS?
Windows first: that's where the deepest integration is possible today. macOS is on the roadmap but not dated.
